DAY 1 – Departure from the USA. Overnight flight to Europe.
DAY 2 – GERMANY... Frankfurt Airport – Mannheim.
Arrive at
Frankfurt Airport. Meet your tour manager and transfer to your
hotel in Mannheim. Afternoon excursion to nearby Heidelberg, for
a visit to the Castle and Old Town before the welcome dinner at
the hotel. (Dinner)
DAY 3 – GERMANY... Rothenburg – Romantic Road – Augsburg.
Sleepy little villages, majestic fortresses and timeless castles
enhance the scenery before and after the morning stop. Then it’s
on to Rothenburg, Europe’s best-preserved medieval city. After
lunch and an afternoon stop, travel to Augsburg, Germany. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 4 – GERMANY... Munich & AUSTRIA... Innsbruck – Neustift.
Spend the morning in the Bavarian capital of Munich and the
afternoon in Austria’s Imperial City of Innsbruck. Overnight in the
Alpine village of Neustift. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 5 – AUSTRIA... Neustift.
Whether you spend your day
relaxing in Neustift, exploring Innsbruck, or taking the optional
‘Bavarian Castles’ excursion, you will be captivated by the scenic
surroundings. In the evening, choose the Optional ‘Tyrolean
Dinner’ excursion or a cozy restaurant in Neustift. (Breakfast)
DAY 6 – ITALY... Lake Garda – Bussolengo near Verona.
Continue across the spectacular Brenner Pass and through the
Alps. Stop along Lake Garda before reaching Bussolengo, Italy. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 7 – ITALY... Bussolengo near Verona.
Spend the day in Bussolengo, Verona, or the Lake Garda Region. On the optional
‘Verona & Venice’ excursion, visit legendary Verona and the
romantic city of Venice. Return to Bussolengo in the evening. (Breakfast)
DAY 8 – SWITZERLAND... Lugano – Lake Lucerne Region.
Enter Switzerland and take a leisurely break in Lugano, ‘Rio of the
Old Continent’. Continue through William Tell country and overnight
in the Lake Lucerne Region. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 9 – SWITZERLAND... Stans – Lake Lucerne Region.
Stop
in Stans this morning where you may join the optional ‘Swiss
Mountain’ excursion. After a leisurely afternoon of sightseeing in
Lucerne, return to your hotel in the Lake Lucerne Region. Consider
participating in the optional ‘Swiss Lake Boat Ride & Dinner’
excursion. (Breakfast)
DAY 10 – FRANCE... Alsace Region – Kaysersberg – St. Dizier.
Cross the French border into the wine country of the Alsace region.
Stop for lunch in picturesque Kaysersberg. Proceed past Nancy
and on to St. Dizier, France. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 11 – FRANCE... Champagne Region – Paris.
Make a short
rest stop before entering Paris for an afternoon and evening in the
‘City of Lights’. Your tour manager will offer an optional ‘Seine
River Cruise’ excursion in the afternoon and an optional ‘Paris
Evening’ excursion. (Breakfast)
DAY 12 – BELGIUM... Antwerp & HOLLAND... Leusden.
Travel
north, from France into Belgium, and visit the historic city of
Antwerp, known for its convivial outdoor cafes, chocolates, lace
and waffles. Continue north into Holland for a comfortable, two-night
stay in Leusden. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 13 – HOLLAND... Leusden.
Your day is at leisure to explore
Holland. The optional ‘Grand Holland’ excursion includes a drive
through Holland’s countryside, a stop at a picturesque Dutch
village, free time in Amsterdam, and a boat ride through the canals.
Dine at your hotel. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 14 – GERMANY... Rhine River – Frankfurt Airport.
Returning to Germany, cruise the castle-lined Rhine River from
Boppard to St. Goar. Dinner and overnight will be at a hotel near
Frankfurt Airport. (Breakfast, Dinner)
DAY 15 – Daytime flight from Frankfurt Airport back to the
U.S.A. (Breakfast)
